The birth flower for the month of February is the Violet which signifies watchfulness, faith and loyalty with energy that cleanses the old and brings in the new. Primrose is also a February birth flower and denotes the message, "I cannot live without you". Like the Violet the Primrose also helps to balances spiritual energy.

BEWARE OF ONLINE FLOWER ORDER GATHERERS!
Make sure you are ordering from a real florist and not just an online order gatherer. Many of the online flower sights that pop up at the top of your Google search are paid advertisers looking to get your business. The problem is that they are giving you "the business". They will take your order, process it for an additional fee, then farm it out to a local florist at a cut rate. The results are not PRETTY. Many times the filling florist will be given only a percentage of the original order price and your arrangement will suffer for it.
On a brighter note, there is a way you can protect yourself from paying more than you have to for flower deliveries and getting the best arrangements. Check to see that the online flower shop you are doing business with has a local address in the town they calm to be in and a local phone number. In my town we have a local North Babylon Business Directory that only lists local businesses and will not add anyone that is using just a post office box or UPS store address.
The best flower values will always come from the local florists. They have worked hard to build a solid business reputation and want you to become a return customer. Out of town orders give me an opportunity to gain two new customers, the person ordering the flowers and the person receiving them. New customers and repeat satisfied customers are what keeps all small businesses going. So next time you are in the market for flowers to order online, do a few minutes of research and find a legitimate local florist. You will save yourself a few extra dollars and get better results.

ONE OF A KIND BRIDE, ONE OF A KIND BOUQUET!
Thinking outside the proverbial box seems to be the trend in bridal bouquets today. Gone are the days of perfectly round carnation bouquets that are sprayed powder blue to match a pastel tuxedo. Brides today want their weddings and their accessories to show uniqueness and creativity. Bold color choices such as turquoise and red, splashes of striped ribbons streaming down and ornate vintage bobbles tucked into bouquets have become main stream. Vintage over sized garden fresh looks are replacing the perfectly tailored bouquets of years ago. Styles come back around and the young women are embracing the looks that their great grandmothers would have loved. Never the same, always with a twist the bridal flowers of today take on a statement of their own. Each bride has her own color pallet and choice of botanicals to suite her personality and expressions of romance.
To me these bouquets are like snowflakes, no two the same, with beautiful patterns all their own. The more I work with brides the more I learn about the process and the pride that comes in picking the finishing touches for her special day. I have my own special way of offering a bridal consultation which includes a kind of "flower shop show and tell" where the brides get to see many of the flowers they are planning to use. Superior to a photograph, it is a visual touch that helps many young couples to envision the finished product.
When you love what you do, it shows!
